PURPOSE: OVPR provides funding to facilitate high-quality work, especially to leverage support from the colleges, schools, or departments for such work. Examples include:
OVPR funds are not intended to cover the total cost of a project, but rather to complement other support, and to address important needs not addressed by other support programs within or outside the University. In most cases, instructional faculty should apply to their deans for at least some support needed.
ELIGIBILITY: Continuing instructional Faculty, Research Scientists, Librarians, Curators, and Archivists may apply
DEADLINES: the 15th of February, April, June, August, October or December. Notification of funding decisions is made within 8 weeks of the receipt of the application in OVPR. Note: all signatures are required before processing begins. Summer months may mean delays. Consultation with OVPR is advised.
