The Carnegie Corporation of New York has invited the University of Michigan to submit one or two nominations for the 2007 Carnegie Scholars Program.
Emphasis on Islam
The goal of the Corporation's emphasis is to encourage the development and expansion of the study of Islam within the United States and to stimulate research on which to help build a body of thoughtful and original scholarship.
