Culpeper Scholarships in Medical Science
Internal Deadline: June 18, 2007

Applicants must have: (1) U.S. citizenship or been granted permanent U.S. residence (proof required); (2) received an M.D. degree from a U.S. medical school (or the equivalent of an M.D. degree from an educational institution equivalent to a U.S. medical school) in 1999 or later; and (3) had at least one year of postdoctoral clinical training. Those who have achieved a rank higher than assistant professor are not eligible. All scientific research relevant to human health will be considered. Research that has relevance to cures for human disease is highly encouraged. Each institution may nominate one candidate. The sponsor deadline is August 15, 2007.

For consideration as the institutional nominee, submit the following electronically in a single PDF docuument by June 18, 2007:

• a 3 page research plan
• a NIH formatted biosketch
• a nominating letter from the department chair.
