Role of the OHRCR Advisory Committee

Advise OHRCR regarding the direction and implementation of the University of Michigan human subjects research protections review program consistent with the mission of the OHRCR.

Encourage institution-wide commitment to human subjects research protections through support of the OHRCRs values and mission.

Assist in the determination of priority risk areas, and recommend risk management strategies in human subjects research protections.

Provide a sounding board, constructive critique, and recommendations, for initiatives developed by the OHRCR.

Provide recommendations for the OHRCR annual compliance monitoring plans, including proposed approaches to compliance monitoring.
